Brian Wise presents the music/interview program Off The Record each Saturday morning on102.7 Triple R-FM in Melbourne, Australia. You can hear it from 9.00am until midday (AEST) or streamed at www.rrr.org.au

The program is a four-time winner of the Best Music Program award from the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia. A one-hour version of the show is broadcast each week to 45+ stations via satellite on the community radio network.

Highlights of the program in the past two years include recordings at:  The Americana Conference in Nashville (September 2014); in Marfa, Texas during the Trans Pecos Festival of Peace & Love (September 2014), recording programs in Austin Texas and Memphis, Tennessee (April/May 2015).

Brian’s interview highlights include visiting the great John Lee Hooker at his house, spending time with Allen Toussaint at the famous Sea-Saint Studios and chatting to Jim Dickinson at his Zebra Ranch Studio (and almost sitting in a chair Bob Dylan sat in).

From 1997 to 2003 Brian was the Editor of the Australian version of Addicted To Noise (www.addictedtonoise.com.au) and is twice winner of the national ONYA Award (1999 & 2000) for Best Online Music Magazine.

Brian is also the Founder and Senior Contributing Editor for Rhythms Magazine (which he started in April 1992).

Brian also presented Dig On The Radio during summers on the ABC from 2003 – 2006 and was a contributor to the Dig! (now DoubleJ) website.
